I am Katie and this is my blog. If you spend much time at all perusing these pages, you will discover who I love, learn about some of my interests and find out what I think about a great variety of things; all of which include (but are not limited to!): my job at Haven House, my family, our two terribly wonderful dogs, gardening, life in Homer (and all about Alaska), fun friends, good music, anti-consumer attempts, cooking, and whatever daily thoughts or events I might feel like writing about.
I find myself living in Homer these days (although greatly missing Fairbanks), with my super great partner, Zach (who does not miss Fairbanks at all!) and our recently turned one year old baby girl, Judah Magnolia (who does not know enough to miss Fairbanks). We try to lead a thoughtful and simple life together in this beautiful place, while perhaps planting flowers and singing songs.
